About Mini Musos Family Concerts
Have you ever wanted to take your child to a concert but felt reluctant to incase they don’t sit still in their chair??? This is where our family concerts provide a relaxed environment for both you and your child, to enjoy music from a huge range of professional musicians. It doesn’t matter if you have a newborn or a toddler, all the family can enjoy what we have to offer (even the Grandparents!)
What to expect:
Each month there will be a weekend performance from a variety of musicians, from string quartets to African drummers, Folk singers and guitar duos. There will be something for everybody!
The concerts consist of approximately 45 mins of short pieces followed by a short interval. There will then be some hands on interaction to explore some of the instruments used. The music is engaging and varied to keep your child’s concentration. Our performers will introduce the pieces and share some information about them.
Although seating will be available, we will provide an area in which your child can sit down and get up close to the performers! If they want to dance to the music, don’t stop them! If they want to crawl around, they can! If your child needs to be fed during the concert, please go ahead. Refreshments will also be available to purchase during the interval.

Hand made in their Cheshire workshop by British Drum Company's team of skilled craftsmen, the Lounge drum set is overtly retro in its design with thin mahogany and birch shells which are then complemented with birch reinforcement hoops. The combination of this perfectly blended shell gives life to a clean yet powerful tone while the mahogany lends a darker, deeper and softer balance to the overall sound of these drums aided by BDC's rounded over 30 degree bearing edge.
All Lounge Series drums are fitted with British Drum Company's Beaver Tail inspired low mass lugs which are centre mounted on the shell. This finalises the vintage feel and style and further more enhances the shells natural resonance.
The kit is then beautifully finished with BDC's trademark mahogany and birch bass drum hoops which are produced from the same mahogany and birch as both the Lounge and Legend Series drums. Matching hoops are available on special request.
Drum sizes: 12/8, 14/14, 20/14
This drum is 7x13 with the shell being made of Eastern Mahogany and the finish is a black satain with a satin finish. 2.3mm hoops, Beavertail lugs, Pork Pie standard throw off, Remo Taiwan heads and high quality snare wires make this a must have snare drum. the 7x13 size give the drum a great attack with the Mahogany shell producing a nice warm bottom end.
The AT-30 is a 30W single channel, all tube (a triplet of 12AX7's and a pair of 6L6GC's, all Ruby Tubes) combo amplifier with plenty of headroom and tone flexibility thanks to the "fat" button, which thickens the mids, as well as the usual 3-band EQ, a built in reverb unit, presence control and effects loop, all accessible through 6 black chicken-head-knobs on a classic-looking mirror chrome face plate.
The AT-30 is very rugged in construction, built for life on the road with black tolex neatly applied over the finger-jointed, baltic birch plywood cabinet. The amp also sports a heavy-duty steel chassis with nearly all components placed on a single PC board. The single built-in American designed 12" Eminence speaker voices the amplifiers natural tonal characteristics perfectly and completes this flexible package which will having you grinning from ear to ear once you try it!
Each one of our acoustic guitars is hand made in small batches to ensure high attention to detail, while using the choicest materials.
